The delivery office itself is situated just south of Woking’s rail station, which largely services trains to Portsmouth Harbour and London Waterloo. The delivery office, located on White Rose Lane, was initially constructed in 1910. In 1935, it was rebuilt with red-brick and stone with a Neo-Georgian flair. There was, at the time, a general focus towards ensuring that the delivery offices matched the architectural vernacular of its surroundings, however the construction of Woking Delivery Office seems to have disrupted this pattern, as the Neo-Georgian is not a feature of Woking’s design history.

However, in recent times the delivery office’s opening hours have been tremendously cut down and is only open for two hours between 8am-10am from Monday to Saturday.
