DM16: Biodiversity

  1. When considering development proposals the council will seek the retention and enhancement, or the creation of biodiversity.
  2. Where development will affect a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation and/or species of importance the council will expect the proposal to meet the requirements of London Plan Policy 7.19E.
  3. Development adjacent to or within areas identified as part of the Green Grid Framework will be required to make a contribution to the enhancement of the Green Grid.
