DSC4: Management and Maintenance

To ensure the long-term attractiveness and usability of open and public spaces and leisure and sports facilities, the Council will seek to ensure that a high standard of management and maintenance is planned for the development over the lifetime of the development, at the time of the application.

Where appropriate, applicants will be required to submit a long term management and maintenance plan for the development, covering a range of reasonably foreseeable management and maintenance issues and contingencies, and proposing consequential remedial actions.

Once the plan has been agreed with the Council, compliance with the management plan will be secured as part of a legal agreement running in perpetuity with the site.
