HOD1: Hoddesdon Town Centre

The Council will support proposals which accord with the following town centre priorities:

  • The completion of public realm improvements throughout Hoddesdon High Street and beyond, including the enhancement of historic buildings;
  • The development of key sites, including a gateway development at and around Scania House to the north end of the High Street;
  • The provision of a mix of day and evening activities;
  • Access and parking improvements;
  • An enhanced programme of events;
  • Protection and enhancement of historic character.
