10: New and Improved Community Facilities

Development that increases the demand for community facilities and services shall make provision where appropriate - or contribute towards - appropriate community facilities to meet the needs of a diverse and growing population. This shall be achieved by the provision of relevant facilities, such as:

  1. New school places, particularly for primary pupils.
  2. Additional nursery places in the Area.
  3. Primary care health facilities, particularly in or near the West Hampstead Growth Area.
  4. Improvements to existing community centres and the range of services they provide.
  5. New community facilities, where appropriate and where there is an identified need.
