KR Kidderpore Reservoir

  1. Development proposals affecting Kidderpore Reservoir (Map 10) should have no significant adverse impact on the architectural or historic interest of the structure, or on the contribution it makes to the special architectural or historic interest of the Redington Frognal Conservation Area and should respect the adjacent land designated as Local Green Space.
  2. Creative and sensitive adaptation of the reservoir is encouraged, in particular where it would create public access to the structure, with greening at ground level. Suitable uses may include a nature reserve in conjunction with commercial use below ground.
  3. Development proposals affecting Kidderpore Reservoir will be supported, if they enable adaptation to create a biodiverse natural space.
