Planning permission will not be granted for development that would result in the loss of either listed buildings, or the buildings or structures of character appearing on the Gateway List as set out in Appendix D of the Plan.

Development affecting heritage assets must pay special regard to the need to conserve and enhance their settings and any special architectural or historic features of significance.
