BEP1 Support for Development of Small Businesses

Proposals for the development of small business will be supported where they involve: -

  • The conversion of existing buildings; and
  • The diversification of existing rural enterprises.

All such proposals will be assessed against the following: -

  • Impact upon residential amenity, including noise and pollution.
  • Access, traffic and car parking arrangements.
  • Impact upon the landscape and character of the area.
  • Design.
