Proposed developments that would generate a significant amount of movement or would potentially affect a known traffic hazard should be supported by appropriate measures to maintain highway safety and avoid vehicular/pedestrian conflict. Where appropriate it may be necessary to consider off site measures where these are required to accommodate the traffic impact of the scheme.

Where they are proposed, new roads, junctions, footpaths and traffic management measures should be designed to complement the rural character of the village and reflect and incorporate local heritage.
