IF2: Schools and Education Facilities

Where justified, Education contributions will be sought to mitigate the population increase attributable to residential schemes. The spending will be in the applicable school catchment area serving Langford and should ensure that:

  1. There are sufficient fit-for-purpose educational buildings and grounds to support Langford and surrounding communities
  2. There are sufficient Langford school places to allow for the expansion of the population in the village and surrounding areas
  3. There are adequate facilities for pre-school and early years provision to support the community
  4. After school facilities cover the needs of the students and are sustainable with increased village growth
