TM1: Transport Information Required to Support Planning Applications
When submiƫng development proposals, applicants are required to supply accurate information based upon up-to-date data which:
- Demonstrates safe walking and cycle routes in the immediate area of the site, with consideration of access to services and facilities, and to the countryside
- Demonstrates how the proposals are sustainable and link with public transport networks in the local area
- Demonstrates the impact of the traffic arising from the development and how these aggregate with other known new and future developments
- Addresses any other identifiable impacts of the new development on the village such as noise, light and air pollution resulting from the development
- Demonstrate how the proposed development will impact on the objective to reduce the `over-reliance on the use of the car’
Planning applications for developments that will generate impacts on movement for Langford, the community and surrounding areas must be accompanied by a Travel Plan that sets out how sustainable movement will be delivered. The Travel Plan and the method of monitoring its effectiveness will be agreed with Central Bedfordshire Council.
