NP21: Low Carbon Development
- Innovative approaches to the construction of low carbon developments, both commercial and residential which demonstrate sustainable use of resources and high energy efficiency levels and capacity to generate electricity, will be supported. Examples would include, but would not be limited to rammed earth, straw bale, timber frame, modular site- assembled, high insulation construction, constructions to Passivhaus standards, conversion to EnerPHit standards and compliance with BREEAM ‘Excellent’ sustainability ratings
