DM14: Non-Designated Heritage Assets.

Proposals will be permitted where they retain the significance of a non-designated heritage asset, including its setting. Where proposals would lead to harm to the significance of a non-designated heritage asset or its loss, proposals should demonstrate that:

  • the level of harm or loss is justified following a balanced judgement of harm and the significance of the asset; and
  • harm is minimised through retention of features of significance and/or good design and/or mitigation measures.
