DM 10.3 Roof Gardens and Terraces

  1. To encourage high quality roof gardens and terraces where they do not:
    • immediately overlook residential premises;
    • adversely affect rooflines or roof profiles;
    • result in the loss of historic or locally distinctive roof forms, features or coverings;
    • impact on identified views.
  2. Public access will be sought where feasible in new development.
