DM 16.1 Transport Impacts of Development

  1. Development proposals that are likely to have effects on transport must be accompanied by an assessment of the transport implications during both construction and operation, in particular addressing impacts on:
    • road dangers;
    • pedestrian environment and movement;
    • cycling infrastructure provision;
    • public transport;
    • the street network.
  2. Transport Assessments and Travel Plans should be used to demonstrate adherence to the City Corporation’s transportation standards.
