37 Environmental Improvements

Environmental improvements will be encouraged in employment locations through:

  • opportunities arising out of development proposals; and
  • publicity given to the support available from bodies such as Groundwork Hertfordshire.

Initiatives by local firms will be welcomed.

Areas needing special attention are:

  • the following General Employment Areas:
    • Frogmore
    • Gade Valley
    • Markyate
    • Northbridge Road
    • Paradise
    • Two Waters; and
  • the employment areas in the Green Belt: i.e.
    • Bourne End Mills
    • Bovingdon Brickworks.
