5.11 Ealing Local Variation - Green Roofs and Development Site Environs

Planning Decisions

  • Green roofs are strongly encouraged on all development where it would be appropriate in design, contextual and conservation terms. Green roofs should be provided on major development that falls within 100m of the following designations: Green Belt, Metropolitan Open Land, Green Corridor, Public Open Space, Community Open Space and Sites of Importance for Nature Conservation.
