DPS1 Housing, Employment and Retail Growth
In the period 2011 to 2033 the Council will:
- Provide for a minimum of 18,458 new homes in the District up to 2033.
- Maximise opportunities for jobs growth, with the aim of achieving a minimum of 10,800 new jobs in the District up to 2033. This will include making provision for 19-20 hectares of new employment land for B1/B2/B8 uses.
- Encourage an additional 7,100m2 of convenience and 5,700m2 of comparison retail floorspace in the District.
