WAT4 Efficient Use of Water Resources
Development must minimise the use of mains water by:
- Incorporating water saving measures and equipment;
- Incorporating the recycling of grey water and utilising natural filtration measures where possible;
- Designing residential development so that mains water consumption will meet a target of 110 litres or less per head per day.
