D3 Utilities
- Planning permission will be granted for proposals only where it can be demonstrated that there will be sufficient capacity within the utilities infrastructure to meet the needs of the development. Applicants will be expected to consult with utilities providers to ensure this is the case, and may be required to undertake assessments to demonstrate sufficient capacity. The Council will expect developers and utilities providers to work together to ensure the appropriate provision of required utilities at the right time.
- Large-scale developments may need to be phased to ensure there is sufficient capacity, and that any required upgrades can take place at the right time.
