In certain areas as indicated on the Proposals Map, the change of use of existing buildings to office uses will normally be permitted where it can be demonstrated that this would assist in maintaining the fabric of buildings and the townscape quality. The areas where this policy will apply are:
- Stone Street (part)
- Wrotham Road (part)
- Windmill Street (part)
- Parrock Street (part)
- Milton Road (part)
- The Grove (part)
- Harmer Street (part)
In the case of offices within B1, the Borough Council will seek agreements to restrict the use to offices.
