E(d) Hazardous Materials

Proposals which concern the storage, handling, production ordisposal of hazardous materials will only be permitted subject to conditions to safeguard public health and if safety and the ecology of the natural environment can be maintained. The Royal Borough will seek to control the location of new establishments where hazardous substances are present and the development of land within the vicinity of such establishments.
