EH-H8: Residential Infilling

Residential infilling development will be supported within the applicable settlement area where the proposed development meets the following criteria:

  • It will have no material adverse impact on the neighbouring amenity; and
  • The site is substantially surrounded by existing development; and
  • The size and massing of new residential development is to be no greater than that of surrounding property.
