P-BE2 - Backland and Infill Development
Backland and infill development will only be permitted where the following apply:
- It can be demonstrated that the proposal:
- is of an appropriate scale and mass
- respects the local context and surrounding pattern of development in terms of density and plot width
- retains appropriate separation between buildings
- retains appropriate garden space for adjacent dwellings
- And where the proposal would avoid an unacceptable impact on:
- The character and appearance of the Puttenham Conservation Area
- The amenity of neighbours
- Parking and traffic congestion in the area
- Loss of trees and biodiversity
