P-NE1 - Natural Environment

Development proposals shall preserve and enhance the parish’s natural environment and rural character, in particular with regard to the scenic and landscape qualities of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Development proposalsfor new dwellings outside ofthe PuttenhamSettlement Boundary should be supported by a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) and a Landscape and Planting Scheme (L&PS), which demonstrate that the proposal has been sensitively designed to minimise its impact on the naturallandscape.
