P-TI1 - Sustainable Transport

New development providing a net increase in residential dwellingsshall contribute towards the provision of sustainable forms of transport.

New development will be required, where feasible, to deliver publicly accessible footpaths and/or cycleways within the site. Wherever possible, and subject to the agreement of the local highways authority, these should be linked to existing footpaths and cycleways nearto the site to enhance safe linkages acrossthe village and sensitively designed to minimise the impact of vehicles on thestreetscene.
