RE13 New Agricultural Buildings
New agricultural buildings will be permitted if the following criteria are met:
- They are reasonably necessary for the purposes of agriculture within the unit;
- The buildings are located with particular care to minimise their effect on the landscape and are not sited in a prominent or exposed location;
- The size, design, materials and colour of the building are compatible with the setting in the landscape, and adjoining buildings;
- Where the use of the new building requires surveillance it is sited to enable this to be provided from existing farm dwellings where appropriate.
