LP3 Designated Heritage Assets - Conservation Areas

Development proposals affecting Conservation Areas or their settings will be permitted where they preserve or enhance the character and appearance of the area including, the established local character of individual buildings and groups of buildings (in terms of height, massing, scale, form, design, materials, detailing and use) and the rhythms and historical form of the area (in terms of the spaces between buildings, density, settings, building lines, siting, pattern of development, urban grain and plot coverage).
