LP54 Overheating and Adapting to Climate Change

All new development must regulate internal and external temperatures through orientation, design, materials and technologies which avoid overheating, mitigate the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect and have regard to maximising the use of the cooling hierarchy. Measures which deliver biodiversity benefits will be strongly supported.
