Developments should seek to minimise waste during both construction and operation of the development, and should provide clear details in plans for the facilities needed for the storage and collection of waste and recycling.

Proposals for new waste facilities and for the development of existing waste sites should comply with the policies in the North London Waste Plan (NLWP).
