SADM4 - Gypsy, Traveller and Travelling Showpeople Sites
Existing provision
The Gypsy and Traveller sites listed in Table 2 will be protected for their existing use. Proposals which would result in the net loss of pitches will not be permitted.
New provision
New pitches will be provided on the following sites:

In addition, the Council will:
- support planning applications for the provision of new Gypsy and Traveller pitches on appropriate new or existing sites; and
- make further provision as needed through the review of the Core Strategy.
All new pitches should meet the criteria of Core Strategy Policy CS6.
