SADM8 - Strategically Important Business Locations and Loss of Office Accommodation
Where planning permission is required, change of use to residential use will not be permitted in the following Strategically Important Business Locations:
- Employment Areas listed in Policy CS8;
- the Key Employment site in Policy CS8;
- Local Significant Employment Sites listed in Policy CS9, and
- Existing office buildings (or parts of buildings) elsewhere in the Borough which exceed 500 square metres floorspace unless it can be demonstrated that the premises are no longer suitable for and have been marketed effectively for continued B1(a) use.
