DMEI 1: Living Walls and Roofs and on-site Vegetation

All development proposals are required to comply with the following:

All major development6 should incorporate living roofs and/or walls into the development. Suitable justification should be provided where living walls and roofs cannot be provided; and
Major development in Air Quality Management Areas must provide onsite provision of living roofs and/or walls. A suitable offsite contribution may be required where onsite provision is not appropriate.
