9 Improving local air quality
The Council will seek to improve local air quality and minimise any negative air quality impacts by:
- supporting a co-ordinated and partnership approach to implement national policy, London Plan policy and the actions outlined in the Council’s Air Quality Management Plan
- working with Transport for London to manage and improve air quality along transport corridors and traffic congestion points
- working with all businesses, including SELCHP, within Lewisham to manage and improve air quality.
