Strategic Objectives:
D A greener borough.
A The Council will protect the Borough’s geodiversity assets and seek to promote understanding of them by:
- Designating a Regionally Important Geological Site at Beckenham Place Park;
- Designating Locally Important Geological Sites at Old Gravel Pit, Blackheath and Buckthorne Cutting, Crofton Park; and
- Ensuring development proposals make a positive contribution to the protection and enhancement of designated geodiversity sites and other sites of geological interest.
