BNE51 Equestrian Developments

Equestrian developments will only be permitted when:

  1. the development maintains and, wherever possible, enhances the character of the locality; and
  2. any buildings blend with their surroundings and are designed, constructed and landscaped using high standards; and
  3. residential amenity is not harmed, in respect of smells, excessive noise or lighting; and
  4. any jumps or other equipment involved are well designed and removed when not in regular use; and
  5. local amenity and road safety are not adversely affected by traffic generated by the development; and
  6. any detrimental effects on local flora and fauna, including hedges and trees have been assessed and appropriate mitigation measures are carried out.
