H2 Retention of Housing

Development which would result in a net loss of existing residential accommodation (or the loss of sites with unimplemented planning permission for residential development) will not be permitted unless:

  1. it can be demonstrated that the existing building or site is unsuitable for continued residential use; or
  2. the proposal would provide facilities of significant benefit to the immediate local community.
