T14 Travel Plans

Travel Plans will be required for all developments which require a transport assessment or as otherwise required by the Council’s vehicle parking standards, including the following:

  1. all substantial developments comprising employment, retail, leisure and/or service floorspace;
  2. smaller developments in category (i) which would generate additional traffic movements in or near to air quality management areas or other areas specifically targeted for a reduction in road traffic;
  3. new or expanded educational facilities;
  4. where a local traffic problem would otherwise lead to a refusal of planning permission.
