CS9 Housing Provision

We will:

  • Support the provision of well designed housing located to create socially mixed and sustainable neighbourhoods, including the redevelopment of poor quality existing housing and not support proposals that result in a net loss of residential units, or net loss of affordable housing units.
  • Work with housing providers to facilitate the provision of a minimum of 4,800 additional homes for the period 2011 - 2026 including the indicative ranges (rounded figures) for the sub-areas of:
    • 1450 -1800 in Morden.
    • 1550 -1850 in Mitcham.
    • 500 - 600 in Colliers Wood and South Wimbledon.
    • 500 - 600 in Wimbledon.
    • 500 - 600 in Raynes Park.
