EP R5 Open Space
- Suitably designed plays space(s) for all age groups should have regard to the Mayor of London’s ‘Play and Informal Recreation’ supplementary planning guidance document (2012).
- Development proposals must be supported by an analysis of the current and future need for the provision of indoor and outdoor sports facilities in order to support the population arising from the proposals. Any proposals should have regard to Sport England’s Planning for Sport Aims and Objectives to protect or relocate existing facilities, enhance the quality, accessibility and management of existing facilities and provide new facilities to meet demand.
