Policy 13

There will be a strong presumption against allowing the extraction of sharp sand and gravel

  1. from land outside any of the areas of land specified in Policies 11 and 12 but which would adversely affect any of those areas; or
  2. which would adversely affect the function of land important to the character or amenities of individual settlements, including land important to the separation of settlements.
