RUD8 - REPLACEMENT OF DWELLINGS IN THE COUNTRYSIDE
In the countryside outside the boundaries of the villages defined in accordance with Policies RUD1, RUD2 and RUD3, proposals for the replacement of dwellings will be permitted providing the new dwelling:
- is not materially larger than the dwelling it replaces;
- is sited on or close to the position of the original dwelling;
- does not detract from the open and undeveloped character of the countryside.
