LP1B: Crossrail Corridor Investment and Growth Area

In order to deliver growth and regeneration in the Crossrail Corridor the Council will seek the following quantums of development across the area:

New homes – 4,850 

New retail foorspace – 20,000 sq.m

New employment foorspace – 7,300 sq.m

New Jobs – 1,600 

Key infrastructure – Crossrail - Seven Kings, Goodmayes and Chadwell Heath Station Improvements - Public realm improvements – Two new minimum 8 form of entry secondary schools and one new primary school - Health infrastructure including investment in Newbury Park Health Centre and two new health hubs (See Appendix 2) - Installation of a Decentralised Energy Network – Improvement to Seven Kings Park - Improved cycling infrastructure.
