Policy 10 New Housing (Strategic Policy)

A. The Borough’s London Plan housing requirement is 4,110 homes, with a total Local Plan housing requirement of 5,928 dwellings over the plan period from 2024-2039. Housing delivery will be in accordance with the following stepped trajectory:

  • 2021/22 to 2024/25 – 210 dwellings per annum
  • 2025/26 to 2027/28 – 420 dwellings per annum
  • 2028/29 to 2030/31 – 670 dwellings per annum

The Council will exceed the minimum strategic dwelling requirement, where this can be achieved in accordance with other Local Plan policies.
