Policy C1

The Neighbourhood Plan will support developments that sustain, or where practicable, enhance the significance of a heritage asset, or the contribution made by its setting. New development must be designed to preserve, and where possible, enhance the character or appearance of Conservation Areas, taking into account national and local design guidance such as the National Design Guide and Conservation Area Appraisals.
