Policy EMP6 (Stoke Road Area)
Within the Stoke Road, Mill Street and Grays Place areas, redevelopment schemes which provide a range of business and residential uses, either independently or combined as mixed use schemes, will be permitted if they comply with all of the following:
- there being no adverse effect on the amenities of neighbouring residential areas;
- there is adequate access, servicing arrangements and landscaping;
- on site car parking being limited to reflect the area’s good public transport links; and
- that the proposals make a positive contribution to enhancing the local environment in accordance with the design policies contained in this Plan.
