Policy H20 (Houses in Multiple Occupation)

Applications for the use of houses for multiple occupation will not be permitted unless they comply with all the following criteria:

  • they provide satisfactory living accommodation and facilities;
  • appropriate levels of on-site parking spaces are provided in line with the aims of the integrated transport strategy;
  • they have an appropriate amount of amenity space; and
  • the use of the property does not result in loss of amenity for adjoining occupiers.
