R10 - GOLF DRIVING RANGES

Golf driving ranges, including the erection of driving stalls or other structures, will not be permitted in the Green Belt, unless:

  • any driving stalls and associated building would involve the re-use of existing buildings in accordance with policy GB2 (Reuse of buildings in the Green Belt); and
  • the proposal would be of a small scale; and
  • the proposal does not result in floodlighting, the erection of obtrusive fences or other visually intrusive features; and
  • the proposal would accord with all the other policies in this Plan. Particular attention is drawn to EP3 (Use, Design and Layout of Development),
