P26 Local list

  • Development must take into account locally listed buildings and structures that positively contribute to local character and amenity.
  • The criteria for a building to be locally listed are:
    • Age and rarity; and
    • Aesthetic value and landmark status; and
    • Group value; and
    • Historic, evidential, communal and social values; and
    • Archaeological interest; and
    • Designed landscaping.
