SI8 – Harpenden Memorial Hospital
Proposals to redevelop the Harpenden Memorial Hospital are supported, provided that they retain a healthcare use, preferably a Health and Wellbeing hub, of equivalent floorspace to the existing healthcare use at the site, which:
- Enables residents to access a wide range of health services and support in one place.
- Includes an increased GP provision.
- Provides specialist care for the elderly and those with physical and learning disabilities.
